MEDITATION
WHAT I OFFER
Breathing, visualisation and meditation exercises are prepared to suit to your needs. In some cases, a simple breathing exercise practiced for 3 minutes per day is all that is needed to restore balance. For others, a longer practice including visualisation and affirmations may be recommended. There are also some individuals for whom I would prescribe a walk in nature, painting, spending more time with their pets or climbing a mountain to enjoy a state of mindfulness or living in the present moment that will help their highest healing.

Enjoy THE PEACE WITHIN YOU
“It will materially help to set apart a short time each day to think quietly of the beauty of peace and the benefits of calmness, and to realise that it is neither by worrying nor hurrying that we accomplish most, but by calm, quiet thought and action become more efficient in all we undertake.”
Edward Bach ‘Heal Thyself’
Breath of life
MEDITATION
Here is an example of a breathing exercise:
Sit comfortably with a straight spine
Gently close your eyes
Bring your attention to your breathing
noticing the rhythm of your breath
and the gentle rise and fall of your chest
as you inhale and exhale
Listen to the sound of your breathing for a few moments….
Take a slow, gentle breath in for 3 counts
expanding your lungs to allow the air in
hold the breath for 3 counts
then gently exhale for 6 counts
breathing out through your mouth with a sigh
Repeat the slow breathing in for 3 counts
hold your breath for 3 counts
and then gently exhale for 6 counts
Return to normal breathing
noticing the rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation
Take a few minutes to reflect on the thought ’the breath of life links us all’
When you are ready open your eyes feeling calm and refreshed
